The brightness in the zenith was 20.92 mag per arcsecond2 at about 22:00 CET, 23.02.2014, the time of the photography. 20.92 mag per arcsecond2 is 2.7 times more bright than the natural clear and moonless sky. This is mainly due to light pollution Therefore the sky is brightened by 170 %. Measurements were obtained with SQM-LU-DL, serial number 2030. Strongest sources of light pollution are the cities of Reutlingen, Stuttgart and Goeppingen.
